ロープウェイで雪山遊び！

こんにちは、長谷川こうへいです。

本日2月3日は電車とバス、ロープウェイを使って御在所岳まで雪遊びに出かけるプログラム。

集合時にまずは行き帰りに乗る予定の電車とバスの乗り換え案内の紙を渡しました。

A4の紙には名古屋駅を何時何分に出て、乗換駅はどこで…など必要な情報が全て載っています。

簡単にポイントを伝えて冒険の開幕です。

まずは切符を買うところから。

往復きっぷは券売機では取り扱いが無かったのです。

窓口を訪ね何とか切符を買えましたが、この後本当に自分たちだけで御在所岳まで行けるか不安な気持ちが伝わってきます。

改札を通るまでだけでもひとつのアクティビティになりますね。

一度電車に乗ってしまえば徐々に子どもたちからは自信の兆しが見えてきます。

「次で降りるんだよ」「3番線に行けばいいみたい？」

などと自分の力で進もうとする声が聞こえてきます。

小さな成功体験が大きな活力になる瞬間でした。

ここからは雪遊びへ向かうだけ、ロープウェイに乗ってぐんぐん山を登って雪遊び前の昼食。

「時間が勿体ないから、先にお昼ご飯を食べよう」と子どもたちからの提案で決まりました。

どうしても大人が手助けをしたくなり「先にごはん食べる？」と先回りした提案をしがちですが、あえて「ごはんいつ食べようかなぁ」と呟くことで主体が大人から子どもたちに変わっていきます。

時間配分をある程度子どもたちに委ねる事で、活動が他人事から自分事へ。

そんな仕掛けを日々考えながら活動しています。

待望の雪遊び。

お昼ご飯の時からチームを決めていた雪合戦、ペンギンのようにお腹で滑るペンギン滑り？や足を埋めたり、身体を埋めたり…などなど名前の無い遊びがどんどん生まれました。

「名も無き遊び」をしているだけで、どんどん周りに伝染していく…あの瞬間が一番子どもたちが輝いている瞬間だと僕は感じています。

楽しかった時間はあっという間に過ぎ、帰りの時間に。

ロープウェイで下山してからはお土産タイムです。

「あといくら残っているっけ…」「帰りのバス代200円は残しておかないといけないから…」と丁寧に計算してお土産の金額と照らし合わせていました。

帰りも自分たちで乗り換え案内の紙を見ながら帰ります。

行きの時より自信に満ち溢れた足取りで乗り換えし、無事名古屋駅へ到着。

自分たちの力だけでA4の紙を頼りに行った事の無い地へ往復できた体験はきっと大きな財産になるのではないでしょうか。

遊びの要素にちょっとだけ冒険要素を加えて、子どもたちが大人になったとき挫けても立ち直れる強い心を養えるように日々サポートしていきます。
