クローバークラス7月は、「飯ごうでご飯炊き」に挑戦しました！

先月の活動で「マッチ」の使い方をマスターした子どもたち。

前回からレベルアップして、マッチで火起こしからの飯ごうでご飯炊きに挑戦しました。

おうちの炊飯器と違って、火加減や水の量等で焦げてしまうことも。

さあ、子どもたちが炊いたご飯はどうなったのか。
活動の中身に入ります。

当日は、良い天気の中活動がスタートしました。

まずは、火起こしやご飯炊きの時に使う薪を袋に集めるところからスタートしました。

前回火起こしをやったことで、「今日もやってやるぞ〜」と意気込んでいる子が多いように感じました。

「みてー！こんなにも集めたよ！」

薪を集めた後はキャンプ場に移動。

デイキャンプ場に到着し、早速ご飯炊きへの準備を始めました。

まずは、マッチをつけるおさらいから。

前回やったことのポイントや大事なことなどをみんなに聞いてみました。

「マッチを使うときに気をつけたほうが良いことやこうしたらいいよっていうこと誰か覚えてる？？」

「赤い所の近くは持たない！」

「マッチをつけたら上を向ける！」

さすが！

マッチを使うときのポイントを覚えている子がたくさんでした。

使い方をおさらいして1人1人マッチの練習。

前回のポイントを大事にしながら丁寧に練習する子どもたち。

前回からの練習もあってマッチの使い方は安心できるほど上手！

自分で何度もやってみるって大事だなと思うことに合わせ、子どもたちの学びの速さに驚きました。

さて、ここからは火起こしをしてご飯炊きに挑戦です。

ここからは２つの班に分かれて活動。

①火起こし班

②お米の準備班

火起こし組は、薪を組んだり新聞紙を丸めたりしながら火を起こす準備

お米の準備組はお米を洗ったり、水の量を測ったりしながらお米を炊く準備

どれも率先してやってみたい子どもたち。

拾ってきた薪をかまどにセットしたり、新聞紙を丸めたりしながら素早く準備に取り掛かっていました。

お米班もお米を研ぎながら「うわー！白くなったよ！」

「すごいね〜」と驚きながら準備を進めていました。

みんなで交代しながら火起こしやお米の準備をして、準備完了！

ご飯が炊けるまで薪を追加したり、様子を見ながら完成を心待ちにしていました。

そして、いよいよ完成！
「おー！お米っができた！」

「白いね！」

自分たちで炊いたご飯を見ながら喜んでいる子ども達。

「早く食べたい！」

そう言って持ってきたおかずを用意。

みんなで「いただきます！」

気になるお味は〜？？

「美味しい！」

「あっ、でもちょっと苦い！」

「焦げてるところがある！」

みんなで炊いたご飯の感想を色々と教えてくれました。

もう一回食べたいとお代わりした子もいました。

自分たちで炊いたご飯を嬉しそうに食べている子どもたちでした！

最後は、みんなでお掃除も！
かまどのお掃除やはんごうのお掃除！

交代しながら片付けも頑張りました！

活動終盤には疲れも見え始めた子どもたち。

解散場所までの移動は少し疲れていた様子。

でも最後まで自分の荷物を持って解散場所へ！

最後まで自分たちで頑張ったね！

マッチの使い方、火の起こし方、ご飯炊きまでできるようになった子どもたち！

次は、8月キャンプでカレー作りに挑戦！

これまでやってきたことに加え、カレーの調理にも挑戦！

みんなで楽しみながら作っていこうね！

次回はお泊まりキャンプ！
