1月は、かまどでひおこしからのアウトドアおやつクッキングと2月活動の電車旅の場所決めやスケジュールたてに挑戦です。
1月のテーマは「創作」です。
どんなおやつを作るか。どんな旅にするかを話し合い、つくっていきました。
その中で、自分たちで作るワクワクを共有したり、そこまでのプロセスを楽しめるか。
決まったものを作るだけでなく、自分たちで創れる余白を残し活動をしました。
子どもたちがどんなものを創っていくのか。僕自身もワクワクしながら活動をつくりました。
アウトドアおやつクッキングがスタート。
3つのメニューについての一覧を渡し、グループでメニュー決めの話し合いが始まりました。
今回は、食材の買い出しも自分たちで挑戦。各グループが使える予算は1000円。
3つのメニューを基盤とし、使う食材や味の工夫、何品作るかはグループの自由。
メニュー一覧を見ながらさまざまな話し合いがスタート。
「マシュマロを使いたい！」
「焼きリンゴをやってみようよ！」
「焼きバナナにしてみる？」
「他にやってみたいものはある？？」
リーダーも一緒になり、子どもたちと話しあいを進めます。
自分たちで何かを創れる。変えることができる。
物事が「自分ごと」となることで、子どもたちのエネルギーは一段とアップします。
決められたものを作るだけでは出てこない話し合いですね。
メニューが決まったら各グループで食材買い出し！
「何を作るの？？」アーサーがグループに問います。
「焼きリンゴ！」
「焼きチョコバナナにねジャムも使うんだ！」
「リンゴあめやってみても良いかな？？」
グループごとにいろんなアイデアが出ていました(笑)
アーサーからグループの予算を受け取り、近くのスーパーまで行って必要な材料を購入しにいきました。
「味付けにこれは？」
「クッキーはこれの方が良いんじゃない？」
「いっぱいあるね〜！」
などを話し、スーパーで買い出し。
戻ってきたら早速創作おやつ作りスタート！
「まず、火を起こさなきゃ！」
「アーサー！マッチとうちわと火バサミと新聞紙貸して！」
「麻ひももある？」
必要なものを伝え、火起こしに向けっていく子どもたち。
「どうやって火を起こす？？」
「まずは、新聞紙をくしゃくしゃにして〜」「最初は細い木から！」
びっくりするぐらい慣れた手つきで準備をする子どもたち。
もしかすると大人よりも火起こしに詳しいかもしれません。(笑)
４月の火起こしマスターや6月の丼もの作り、夏のキャンプでの火起こしを経験し、どんどん「火起こしマスター」へと近づいていました。
「アーサー！もう火がついたよ！」
「僕もマッチで火起こしできた！」と嬉しそうに話してくれました。
バナナやリンゴをアルミホイルで包んで焼いたり、マシュマロを串に刺し、スモア風のお菓子を作ったりとグループでいろんなアイデアが形となり、皆出来上がりが楽しみで待ちきれない様子。
味見で半分ほどなくなっていたような。。。(笑)
「おいしー！！」
「早くみんなで食べよ！」
自分達で創ったアウトドアやつに大満足！
使った調理器具等を片付け午後のグループ旅の企画へと入っていきました。
2月は「グループ電車旅」
こちらも3つのプランを用意し、どこにいくか、行った先で何をするか、必要な持ち物を自分たちで話し合って決めていきました。
プランは、以下3つ
①岡崎城プラン(ポイント:岡崎城、団子や五平餅、公園遊び、歴史など)
②岐阜公園プラン(ポイント:登山、岐阜城、ロープウェイ、リス村など)
③大須商店街プラン(ポイント:食べ歩き、公園遊び、科学館や美術館が近いなど)
いくつかできることやポイントが書かれた旅一覧シートを見ながらグループでどんな旅にするか話し合いました。
「どこに行ってみたい？」
「団子もいいな〜」
「岐阜公園がいいな！」
「だってリス村もあるし、岐阜県までいけるんだよ！」
意見が一致し、まとまるグループもあれば、なかなかまとまらず話し合いが続くグループも。
皆で納得するまで話し合い。
自分たちで決めれるからこそ、難しいところが出てくる。
決まった場所に行くだけの電車旅では出てこなかった悩みだったと思います。
最終的には、なんとかまとまり旅のプランが決定。
中には、1番いきたかったところにならなかった子もいるかもしれません。
しかし、皆で納得して決めるようにグループで話し合っていました。
ナイスチャレンジですね。
ペンギンクラスでは、来月6つのグループ全てが岐阜公園に！
旅に必要なものやスケジュールを自分たちで話し合っています。
集合と解散は全員で、その他の時間はグループごとに動き、旅をしていきます。
グループの電車旅が、どんな旅になるかとても楽しみにしています！
