4月23日にペンギンクラスの活動がスタートしました！

このペンギンクラスとシロクマクラスは、同じステップクラスという小学1年生〜小学4年生のクラスとなっています。

グループでの活動を通して、自分の気持ちを表現したり、他のお友達の意見を聞き入れたりして人との関わりを学んだり、野外活動をやっていく中で自分のできることを少しでも増やすことができるステップを踏んでいけるようなクラスにしていければと思います。

4月の活動は、【無人島流の火起こしに挑戦】

今回は、マッチだけでなく、メタルマッチを使って火起こしに挑戦しました！

さあ、マッチや、メタルマッチを使ってひおこしはできたのでしょうか！？

活動について入っていきます！

活動の最初は、まずはグループのアイスブレイク！

これから１学期一緒に活動していくお友達の名前を覚えよう！

「名前は〇〇です。よろしくお願いします！」

「〇〇くんの隣の□□です！」

「〇〇くんの隣の□□ちゃんの隣の☆☆です！」

のように、どんどん名前をつなげながら自己紹介をしていきます。

「全員言えた！」「全員の名前覚えたよ！」

たくさん声を出したことで、少しずつ緊張も和らいできたようです。

さあ、アイスブレイクの後は、メイン活動「無人島流の火起こし！」

「みんなは火起こしやったことある？？」

「やったことあるよ！」「僕は初めて！」「マッチはあるけど、メタルマッチは初めて！」

やったことある子、初めてチャレンジする子様々でしたが、火起こしを楽しみにしている様子でした。

アーサーからのマッチとメタルマッチの使い方講座を聞いた後、グループごとに火起こしチャレンジに挑戦しました！

今回、火起こしマスターになるために8個のミッションを用意しました。

例えば、

・マッチに火をつけて上を向けることができる。

・メタルマッチで火花を出すことができる

　など初級ミッションからちょっと難しいミッションなどをグループで挑戦しました！

クリアした個数によって火起こし認定の何級かが変わります。

グループで何級を目指すかを話し合いながら取り組みました。

「まずは、マッチのミッションからやろう！」

「やった！マッチに火がついた！」

「メタルマッチで火花が出た！」

グループみんなで挑戦し、少しずつ「できた！」の数が増えていきました。

「よし、最後に火を完全につけてみよう！」

みんなで麻ひもや薪を使ってひおこしに挑戦していました。

練習の成果が出ており、5分もかからないうちに「火がついた！」という言葉が出ていました。

みんなで火起こしをした後は、焼きマシュマロを食べました。

「お〜！おいしい！」「もう一個食べたい！」

「楽しいね〜！」と言葉を交わしながらプチ野外おやつを楽しんでいました！

無人島流の火起こしの後は、緑地公園全体を使ったグループミッションに挑戦です！

緑地公園の様々なポイントの写真が載ったシートと地図を見ながら時間内にそのポイントを何箇所回れるかのミッションに挑戦しました。

「あっ、ここ知ってるよ！」「こっちだよ」

グループで話し、緑地公園全体を歩いて探しました。

帰って来た子どもたちは、「たくさん歩いた〜！」「めっちゃ疲れた！」とかなり歩いて疲れた様子でした(笑)

グループで火起こしやグループミッションを通して、たくさん話したり、考えた1日だったのではないかなと思います。

次回の活動は、電車に乗ってハイキング！

自分たちで切符を買ってハイキングに向かいます。
