無人島キャンプに挑戦しよう！

こんにちは、曽雌です。

今回のワンダークラスのキャンプは、1泊2日の無人島キャンプです！！愛知県にある無人島でキャンプを実施しました。

そしてワンダークラスのキャンプは、メニューから食材、必要な物品を全部自分たちで考えて実施をしていきます。

そのため、6月の活動でグループ毎に考えたメニューや食材、物品をもってキャンプ場まで行くところからスタートです。

朝、集合した子どもたち。

自分たちの荷物以外に、食材や物品の袋を手分けして持っていきます。

なかなかの荷物ですが、自分たちで決めた物品なので頑張ります。

キャンプイスを4つも持っていっていたチームもありましたね(笑)

なかなかの荷物の量ですが、すまし顔で持っていく子どもたち。やっぱり自分で決めるって大事ですね～

電車を乗り換えて、いざ港へ。

ここから船で島まで向かいます。今回の無人島までは、船で約3分。驚くべき近さですが、船に乗って向かうだけでなんだか冒険感がありますね。

島に着いたらまずはテントの設営です。

去年キャンプに行った子どもたちはなんとなくテントの立て方を覚えているようで、すんなりと立てていきます。やっぱり体験って大事ですね～

テントを立てるのが初めてな子も協力しながらテントを立てていきます。

今回の無人島は、実は水道も電気も通っている島です。でも本当に人は一切住んでいない無人島。

子どもたちにはまず安全について考えてもらうことからスタートです。

リスクマネジメントを行う上で最も大切なのは、子どもたち本人が危険性を理解していることです。どれだけ大人が危険を注意しても、本人が自覚をしていなければあまり意味がありません。

だからこそ、子どもたちには自分たちで安全を守る必要性を感じてもらいます。

「ここは無人島。すべてが自然の中にあり、すべてが楽しい場にもなれば、大きな怪我をするリスクもあるよね。りょうた先生やリーダーはみんなの命を守ろうとするけど、みんな自身が自分の命を守ろうとしなかったら絶対に助けられないよね。だからこそ、自分で自分の命を守ろうと行動してみてください。それが無人島で生活をする上で何より大切なことです」

ワンダークラス全体のテーマが、いかに活動や行動を自分ごとに変えていけるです。誰かに何かをやってもらうことが当たり前ではなく、自分たちで決めたことをどうやって考えながら実現させるかという視点を大切にしています。

そのため、準備の段階から子どもたちから質問のメッセージが。保護者の方との公式LINEを通じて、子どもたちから質問が来ます。これがまた面白くて、個人的にはこの子どもたちから来る質問が凄く好きです。

話がそれましたね。

テント設営が終わったら、みんなで島の確認に出かけました。

島にはどんな場所があって、どんな活動ができそうか。どんな危険がありそうか、最初に一緒に確認していきました。

その後、グループに分かれて活動スタートです。

ここからは完全にグループタイムとなります。いつご飯を作ってもいいし、いつ遊びに行ってもいい。ただ海に入る場合のみ、本部のスタッフから安全チェックを受けることというルールです。

頑張ってイスを運んだ甲斐がありますね。

その後、チーム毎に夕食づくりへ。

薪を集めて、火をおこす。

食事をするためには様々な準備が必要ですね。

そんなことも感じていきます。

無人島で作った料理とは思えないほど、美味しくできました。

暗くなってからは、グループごとに考えたお楽しみタイムです。

予算の中でやり繰りを行い、余ったお金で購入した花火大会を実施しました。

みんなが寝始めたころ。

なにやら浜辺に集まり始めた子どもたちが。

夜のレクリエーションを楽しんでいました。

なんでもないことでも笑ってしまう。

そんな何気ない時間も大事ですね。

夜がふけていき、朝がやってきました。

4時から釣りを始めた子どもたちがいました。

前日から、早朝の釣りを計画していたそうです。

 なんと真鯛が釣れたとか。

やりますね～！

その後、朝ご飯を食べ

最後の海遊びへ！

泳ぎながら島を半周したグループも！？

その後は最後のお昼ご飯！

美味しくできたかな？

さあ、ここからが大変。

みんなで片付けタイム！！

テントの撤収。物品の返却。洗い物。

チームで協力しながら進めていきます。

なんとかギリギリセーフ！

その後は使った浜辺をみんなで掃除しました。

自分たちが使ったものじゃなくても、使った場所を綺麗にしていったら、社会はきれいになっていく

いよいよ、島からの出港です。

そして電車に乗って、解散場所の金山駅へ。

疲れもあってか帰りの電車ではぐっすりでしたね。

1泊2日と短い時間ではありましたが、中々濃い時間でした。

やっぱり島っていいですね。

波の音、風の音、鳥の音。

自然の中で、普段とは少しだけ切り離された環境。

ちょっとだけ冒険ができる。

そんな環境が島にはあります。

ワンダークラスの1学期の活動はこれにて終了。

2学期から、新チームになります。
